Berlusconi: Barca Have Been Lucky

AC Milan supremo Silvio Berlusconi says that luck has played as a big a part in Bracelona’s recent success as their skill.

Barca have dominated the Primera Division in recent years, as well as stormed to two Champions League crowns.

Berlusconi admits that the Catalans are the best team in the world, but doesn’t credit it all to the players and staff.

“Barcelona? They are the best team in Europe for me,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“However, only 50 percent of their success is down to class, skill and tactics. The other half is a result of the luck they’ve had.”
