Chelsea Complete Romeu Signing

Chelsea have officially completed the signing of Oriol Romeu from Barcelona on a four-year contract.

The 19-year-old will join up with the Blues after Spain’s U20 World Cup campaign comes to an end.

The two clubs had already agreed on the 5 million Euro fee 11 days ago, and Romeu has now completed the switch.

“Chelsea is a great option for me,” he said earlier this week.

“Leaving Barca hurts, but you have to take your chances.”
