Crouch Wants Modric To Stay

Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch says he hopes the fans will help persuade Luka Modric to stay this summer.
The Croatia international has revealed his interest in joining Chelsea, but Spurs have said that he is not for sale at any price and have stood firm throughout the summer.
Crouch says that Modric was worried about what kind of reception he would get during their preseason friendly against Athletic Bilbao, but the fans were warm to the player despite the ongoing saga.
“I think he (Modric) might have been a bit concerned about which way it would go but he got a great reception,” Crouch told the Guardian.
“That certainly makes it harder for him that the fans are right behind him. He knows that the fans here love him and hopefully he can stay here for as long as he can. He’s going off for international duty now and we were saying to him ‘make sure we see you on Thursday’ and we hope he does.
“He is a top player. We love him at the club. He is a great lad to have about. We all want him to stay.”

Crouch is no good for Spurs, in fact none of their strikers for me add any value. Modric wants to go, so take the money and buy two goal scorers
